Well, Russ has been gone for almost a year now, and I know some of you miss him. He was one of a kind, his own self. A man who lived according to his own standards, some high and some low and some that were seriously "far out". I think we PokerMafia.com-ites can all agree that there were many things to like about Russ. And, of course, there were things that drove us nuts - remember how he would suddenly stop in the middle of a sentence and say, "HERE.." and proceed with something relevant or irrelevant to the conversation? That used to drive me nuts. Now I really miss it. I find myself saying, "HERE!" just to hear it again. He was a good guy and a bad guy with loyal friends and dedicated enemies. But he was never boring, never cheap and always looking for the ultimate scam - legal or not.
